We’re about to see a bunch of new footwear collaborations from Nike, but one can argue that not all of them will be as hyped up as the Nike X Hello Kitty Air Presto collab. Initially, the two brands were supposed to collaborate in 2004. unfortunately, the launch was scrapped, and several pairs trickled out to friends and family.

But now, the wait is over, as official images of the pair have recently surfaced. This confirms that a public drop is definitely on its way. The shoe’s upper is dyed in a sky blue tone and decorated all over.

There is the imagery of the Yuko Shimizu-designed character’s face. Side cages and laces are done up in white. The side cages come complemented with an oversized red bow tie atop the tongues and heel moulds that are styled up.

The interiors are lined with a soft black velour material and feature insoles printed with rainbows, green grass and blue skies to reflect a Sanrio haven. The shoes also come packaged in a unique box with Nike Swoosh logos stacked below the Hello Kitty bow.

Early reports have these scheduled to drop on May 27 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
